Emily Wheatcroft-Snape is a Tāmaki Makaurau–based audio engineer and producer with over eight years of experience in Aotearoa’s vibrant music scene. She has her own production space on the fringe of Auckland CBD, and regularly records out of Roundhead Studios, Parachute Music, and Big Fan.

Emily has worked on notable local releases including Soft Power by Fazerdaze, The Big Sulk by Louisa Nicklin, Ceremony by Tiny Ruins, Te Kaahu o Rangi by Te Kaahu, Something to Feel by TEEKS, and Solar Power by Lorde.

Emily was a finalist for Best Engineer at the 2024 and 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards alongside her longtime collaborator Amelia Murray, and landed the cover of NZ Musician’s Dec/Jan 2024 issue.

Beyond engineering, Emily releases music under her artist project Em, documents Tāmaki Makaurau’s soundscape in her Auckland Sounds project, and leads Record Enable, an initiative supporting gender diversity in technical music roles.
